Celebrity hair styling is a good combination of style and health, they are equally balanced in the health of the hair and a stylish outlook.

Given below are some great trendsetting, celebrity hair styling tips practiced by famous Hollywood beauties.

Angelina Jolie:

Angelina Jolie is one of the famous Hollywood actresses who is known for her voluminous hair. If you want to follow the same hair styling as that of Angelina Jolie then follow the steps:

* Trim your hair into long layers. The hair will look voluminous and also the weight will be reduced.

* Wash and condition your hair with a nutritious shampoo.

* Dry the hair with a towel. Apply hard holding gel or glaze at the hair follicles or root area.

* Dry your hair with the help of the electronic dryer. Keep moving your dryer on both the directions or anyway you feel will add volume to your hair.

* Divide your hair into 6-7 sections. Curl them with a large curling iron. It will create waves in your hair.

* Separate the curly hair waves with your fingers.

* In order to avoid a fine texture to your hair, apply hair crème or pomade.

* Take a small amount of crème in your hand and rub the pomade dipped hands together . Then run your fingers across the hair many times. This will separate the hairs from one anotherand the cream will add volume.

* The curls that fall in front of your face take them back by using a hair brush.

* Use a little pomade on the front curls to keep it back along with the rest of the hair.

* You can apply hair spray which will enhance control over your hair.

Angelina Jolie prefers a dark chocolate tinge to the hair. This approach is typical of woman hair styles and not only adds glow to the face but also highlights the curls.

Man hairstyles:

Just as there are many woman hairstyles, there are several interesting man hairstyles too. According to the fashion and beauty experts male Hollywood stars are more inclined towards longer hair. They are trying to move away from the stereotype short hair of the 90s. Now the preferred length of hair of the current Hollywood stars is down to the tops of the shoulders.

Though the trendy man hair styles have increased in its length to about 4-6 inches more but they still prefer waves and curls on their hair. The spike and crazy man hair style is worn over and the Hollywood stars are opting for more controlled and fresh look.

The male Hollywood celebrities like Brad Pitt and Matt Damon usually prefer light colored hair. Brad Pitt opts for different hues of brown color. The popular man hair styles in Hollywood are more inclined towards hair color that goes well with their skin tone.

In both man and woman hair styles, celebrity hair styling plays an important role and is setting the trend for the years to come.

Some people have a misconception that while imitating the hair styling tips of the celebrities, they may have to expose their hair to potentially harmful chemically formulated styling products, but it is not so.

Even the celebrities are becoming more and more aware of the use of natural hair growth products and using them more often.

So follow this tip to use all the natural ingredients like olive oil, organic beeswax, mango butter, babassu oil, jojoba, wheat germ oil, essential oils of bay laurel, cedar atlas, fir balsam and massoia and Vitamin A, C & E to take care of your hair naturally.

Good hair is ideal for any hair style, be it celebrity hair styling or any ordinary everyday man or woman hair styles.

Bollywood Actress Hansika Motwani Fitness Secret !

“A diet is a selection of food that helps you loose weight”, says actress Hansika Motwani.

She may not be called as a new entrant in Bollywood as she has been into the industry since a long time as a child artist. Just like a fairy tale she grew up fast and suddenly appeared as a beautiful actress. Hansika talks about the secret of her fitness and her favourite food.

Hansika is not a foodie and may be that helps her to maintain herself. “I am not very foodie. I like home made Rajma Chawal . I don’t indulge in oily cheesy stuff”.

She begins her day with a healthy breakfast as she believes that it’s the first meal of the day and it should be healthy. She prefers skimmed milk and an apple in the morning. Hansika believes in diet and follows her Guru Mickey Mehta’s instructions properly.

From a child actress, Hansika was expected to gain a good amount of weight to match up his male co-star Himesh Reshammiya in her first film as an adult actress. But after her first movie Aap Ka Suroor , Hansika lost seven kilos. Talking about fitness she says, “I prefer both cardio and weight exercises. I exercise two hours everyday in my gym. I prefer protein milkshake after workout. I believe in yoga and meditation as well.”

Hansika is quite particular about her food. She feels that healthy food is an important part of a balanced diet. “I don’t starve myself. I take eight meals through out the day. My lunch comprises Roti, daal, dalia , salad and yoghurt. I prefer fruit juice rather than cold drinks. I avoid dinner or any kind of food late at night. Rather I prefer to have my dinner in the evening”, she concludes.

CZECH BORN INDIAN MODEL YANA GUPTA INNERMOST BEAUTY SECRETS...

CZECH BORN INDIAN MODEL YANA GUPTA INNERMOST BEAUTY SECRETS:

Yoga - the natural body workout:

To attain a well-rounded body, it’s essential to exercise religiously without any long breaks. By that I don’t mean hitting the gym all day long but improving the flexibility of the body naturally. I practice yoga and other simple stretching exercises that are more fruitful than pumping iron in the gym. Very few people are aware of this, but certain yogic aasans are excellent for hair, as they activate blood circulation in that area and keep the tresses strong and luster-rich! The best exercise for great hair is to stand upside-down with the head facing the ground. At least that works like magic for me.

Diet essentials:

I follow a balanced diet that is a right mix of carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins. Eating small portions of meals five to six times a day is also equally vital. Consuming gallops of food at a go can prove detrimental. Also remember, there should be no limit to your water-intake. I make sure I drink lots of water on a daily basis.

Skin secrets:

An easy path to flawless skin is sweating it out. It’s very important for the pores of the skin to open up and respire. That’s exactly what happens when the body sweats. Our skin also reflects what we eat, therefore, include as much of raw fruits and green vegetables in your diet as possible. Natural fluids like coconut water and plain lukewarm water also work wonders for me.

Avoid direct sun exposure:

Since its peak summer these days, I steer clear off tanning in the sun. Try and avoid direct expose under direct sun as far as possible. Over exposure of direct UV rays are lethal for your skin. Use a high quality sunscreen lotion half and hour before you step out.

Natural oils:

Even a soothing body massage with natural oils, like virgin olive oil can prove very reinvigorating. A gentle oil massage on a regular basis is indispensable for hair as it provides excellent nutrition to the roots. I massage my hair with natural oils twice a week and make sure the oil is rinsed off completely.

Mane magic:

The beauty products you apply are of utmost importance in the long run. So use a good-quality mild shampoo for daily use. Because the weather conditions in Mumbai are so sultry and humid, I shampoo my hair daily. I also make it a point to use a rich conditioner after I am done with shampooing. If you want great hair, try consuming as many raw almonds and walnuts during the course of day as possible. They help increase the tensile strength of hair. Lastly, to avoid bad-hair-days and split-ends, you must go for a monthly trim.

LEGENDARY CLEOPATRA BEAUTY SECRETS...

IMAGINARY PAINTING OF CLEOPATRA

Legendary beauties have used milk and honey as part of their skin and hair care treatments for millennia.

Cleopatra
, the queen of Egypt, was known for her exquisite complexion and famous for her milk and honey baths. Poppea, wife of Roman Emperor Nero, used a honey and milk lotion on her face to keep her looking youthful.

By the time cosmetics were beginning to be mass produced in the late 1800s, honey was a popular ingredient. Today, manufacturers are increasingly using honey in skin moisturisers, facial masks, hair conditioners and shower gels in response to consumer demand for more natural formulations. They are also ideal ingredients to mix up some beauty treatments at home.

Though Cleopatra and Poppea were born beautiful, they realised that natural beauty can be preserved through the application of products. Though they weren’t aware of the science, they were using two of nature’s most skin-beautifying ingredients.
The lactic acid in milk is an alpha hydroxy acid, which helps to cleanse and exfoliate the deepest layers of the skin. Milk works like a gentle glycolic peel, which results in smoother, clearer skin.

Honey has an abundance of health properties. First of all, it is composed of sugars such as glucose and fructose, so it is also a gentle alpha hydroxy acid, like milk. It’s made up of both minerals and vitamins to help nourish and heal the skin.

Since honey also contains phytochemicals that kill viruses, bacteria and fungus, it has a natural anti-inflammatory effect, which heals spots and wounds quickly. This makes honey a good substitute for wound dressings. All-natural honey is an effective treatment for minor abrasions and burns. A recent review of medical research documents its effectiveness as an antimicrobial agent.

The skin’s ability to stay hydrated is an important factor in its ability to maintain softness, suppleness and elasticity. As skin ages, or as it is exposed to environmental stresses and chemical agents, it loses this ability to retain water, becomes dry and appears wrinkled. Honey is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains water. This makes it particularly suitable for s variety of moisturising products including cleansers, creams, shampoos and conditioners. Because honey is also an anti-irritant, it is suitable for sensitive skin and baby care products.

Cleopatra’s honey and milk bath:

Ingredients:

120ml powdered milk
120ml pure honey
2 teaspoons jojoba oil (optional)

Method:

Mix ingredients in a large bowl and pour your warm bath. Soak for up to 20 minutes to infuse these beneficial ingredients in your skin. This recipe makes enough for one bath.

Hair shine:

Stir one teaspoon of honey into 950ml warm water. Blondes can add a squeeze of lemon, too. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Don’t rinse out and dry as normal.

Milk and honey rinse for wrinkled skin:

Ingredients:

15ml raw honey
125ml skimmed milk
1 teaspoons aloe vera gel

Method:

Combine ingredients in a jar and shake well. Apply to your face morning and evening with a cotton ball. Store mixture in the fridge and use within milk’s sell by date.
