The ancient science of Ayurveda is an ancient philosophy based on Eastern ideas about the body and the mind. 1. Use Turmeric and Sandalwood to Control Acne:
A paste made out of turmeric and sandalwood powder can be used externally to fight acne. Make the paste by combining one teaspoon of each ingredient with enough water to make a spreadable paste. Leave the paste on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water every night.
2. Avoid too much Salt and Naturally Salty Food:
Salt causes the body to retain water which can lead to skin inflammation, rashes and pimples. Keep these foods to a minimum, or cut them out of your diet altogether to help your skin avoid the affects of water retention.
